I’ve said it before, I love “plain” oatmeal … no sugar or salt, just love the simple natural sweetness and slight nuttiness. Saying that, I do also like to play with flavors. Here topped with sliced apricots, and zante currants soaked in a little Cointreau, then slivered crystalized ginger … very tasty.

Oatmeal with Ginger & Blueberries
I know, I’ve posted a similar pic… but I find thick cut rolled oats for oatmeal topped with sliced candy ginger to be extremely tasty and satisfying. Adding dried blueberries soaked in a little Cointreau makes it extraordinary!
